Frequently Asked Questions

  • We are currently in network with BCBS, Aetna, PEHP, EMI and Select Health insurances. (Med, Value, Signature, Care and Choice Plans) If you are out of network, our office can provide you with a Superbill/statement that you will have to submit to your insurance for reimbursement. Please contact your insurance to verify coverage and obtain any authorization prior to starting services.

  • Our office charges a cancellation fee if you are unable to cancel 24 hours before your scheduled appointment. Arriving 15 minutes or more after the scheduled start time for your appointment is considered a no show and will incur a fee of $100. Your insurance cannot be billed if you miss the appointment.

  • Telehealth services are video sessions that use a HIPPA compliant video platform in order to protect your privacy and the confidentiality of our clients. Clients will have a secure client portal to access the video sessions.

  • All those receiving mental health services who are under insured, not insured, or do not wish to use their medical insurance benefits for services, are entitled to receiving a Good Faith Estimate. This also includes those who do not plan to submit Superbills to their insurance company. This GFE allows for the individual to know what charges to expect while paying for out-of-pocket and out-of-network services over the span of 12 months, or 50 therapy sessions. Any and all changes to this amount over the span of 12 months will be updated in writing and given to the individual.
