Meet Annie Brown

Mental Health Intern, MSW

Annie Brown (they/them) is currently pursuing their Masters of Social Work with the University of Denver. They identify as queer and non-binary and are a passionate advocate for marginalized communities,  bringing extensive experience working with families and diverse populations of all ages.

Annie's goal is to create a non-judgmental and supportive environment that honors clients' unique identities and experiences. They use a holistic and collaborative lens to support clients in healing and cultivating a deeper connection to themselves.

Annie uses a trauma-informed approach, understanding the impact of trauma on well-being, symptoms, and behaviors. They believe in fostering a safe and trusting environment where clients can explore issues such as panic attacks, suicidal ideations, instrusive thoughts, and self-harm, especially for those within the LGBTQ+ community.

In their spare time, Annie enjoys crafting with their friends and spending time outdoors with their dog, Oliver.

Arches Healing and Growth aims to provide a multicultural space that is inclusive and accessible to people of all cultural backgrounds and welcoming of their gender identities, religion, race, sexual orientations, disabilities and immigration status to facilitate and create a safe haven for healing and growth.
